1st Choice Personnel started in May 1980 in Shreveport, Louisiana, with a simple idea: treat the people we place like family, and the businesses we serve like neighbors. More than four decades later we are still locally owned, with five offices across Louisiana and East Texas and a local team in every one.

Every business is different, so we do not do cookie-cutter staffing. We learn how your operation runs, what your shifts look like, and what it takes for someone to succeed there, then send people who fit.

For job seekers, we are the opposite of a faceless agency: it is always free to apply, you are paid weekly, and a real person picks up the phone. The goal has not changed since 1980: fill every order our clients trust us with, and turn temporary work into lasting opportunity.
