Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented CNC Press Brake Operator (manual) to join a manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating manual press brake machines to shape sheet metal with precision and efficiency. Your expertise in mechanical fabrication, blueprint reading, and quality inspection will ensure that all parts meet strict specifications.
Duties:
-Set up and operate manual press brake machines to bend and form sheet metal components according to detailed blueprints and technical drawings - Interpret technical drawings, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing), and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication - Adjust machine settings, tooling, and tooling alignment to achieve precise bends and consistent quality -Conduct routine inspections of finished parts using calipers, micrometers, precision measuring instrumen
Job Requirements:
- Proven experience operating manual press brake machines in a manufacturing or fabrication setting -Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and interpretation of technical drawings with GD&T principles - Familiarity with CNC laser cutting, plasma cutting, EDM, CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, stamping presses, welding techniques, and other machining processes is a plus -Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot machine issues and perform routine maintenance
